Glen Alpine Dentist: Considered Care, Close to Home
Your Journey to a Healthier Smile Begins Here, Close to Home.
Glen Alpine families choose Appin Dental for the time we take, the questions we welcome, and the care we don't rush. QIP-accredited. Same postcode 2560. Open Monday to Friday. We're just minutes south on Appin Road, backed by 30+ years of dental care. Our team has been part of Macarthur's dental fabric for decades.
The drive from Glen Alpine takes only 12 to 15 minutes via Narellan Road and Appin Road, with free on-site parking and no time limits when you arrive. We firmly believe in building lasting relationships with our patients, where your comfort and peace of mind always come first. Most Glen Alpine patients tell us the unhurried appointments are why they stayed after their first visit.

What Makes a Glen Alpine Visit With Us Different?
Most dental complaints aren't about the dentistry. They're about feeling rushed, talked over, or sold to. We've built our Glen Alpine patient experience to do the opposite of all three.
Time, properly booked. A standard check-up and clean is scheduled for the actual time it takes, not for the slot a billing system says it should take. New-patient consults run longer.
Plain-language explanations. Every recommendation comes with a "what happens if we don't" answer. You leave knowing what's urgent, what's optional, and what can wait.
No upsells, no production targets. Our principal dentist has 19+ years of clinical experience across Queensland and New South Wales, and the practice is QIP-accredited (the Quality Innovation Performance accreditation that audits clinical and patient-safety standards). That's the only "sales target" we work to.
Health-fund friendly. Preferred provider for Medibank and nib, all major Australian health funds accepted, HICAPS on-the-spot claims, so you only ever pay the gap.

One Practice for Three Generations of Glen Alpine Families
Some of our longest-standing Glen Alpine patient files cover three generations of the same family. The grandparent who started coming when the practice's sister clinic, Bradbury Dental Surgery, opened more than 30 years ago. The parent who switched across when Appin Dental opened. The kids and now-grandkids who come for their first check-ups and Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) visits.
What that looks like for your family:
-
Children: Gentle first visits, fluoride treatment, fissure sealants, custom mouthguards for school sports. CDBS-eligible kids: we bulk-bill the schedule.
-
Teens and young adults: Wisdom teeth assessments, Invisalign consults, sports mouthguards, whitening before formals and weddings.
-
Adults: Check-ups, scale and clean, cosmetic and restorative work (fillings, crowns, veneers, bonding), plus implants and bridges where teeth need replacing.
-
Older patients: Dentures (full and partial), implant-retained options, gum-health management, denture relines and repairs.
Same dentist, same chair, same staff names you'll come to know. That continuity is hard to get at a high-turnover Campbelltown practice.

Switching Dentists From Within Macarthur? Here's How
If you've been seeing a Campbelltown, Mount Annan, or Bradbury dentist and want to switch, the process is short.
-
Book a new-patient appointment. Online or by phone on (02) 9068 1369.
-
Request your records. We'll send a one-page form for you to email, fax, or sign at reception. Your previous practice has to release X-rays and treatment notes by law.
-
First visit. Examination, scale and clean if due, full set of digital X-rays only if your previous ones are over 12 months old. Health-fund claim processed on the spot via HICAPS.
No interrogation about why you're switching. Patients change dentists for all sorts of reasons and we don't ask.
Dental Emergencies Near Glen Alpine? Call First.
If you have severe tooth pain, facial swelling, a knocked-out tooth, a broken tooth, or a lost crown or filling, call us first on (02) 9068 1369. Same-day emergency dental slots are kept open Monday to Friday during clinic hours. We'll triage over the phone, give you first-aid steps, and book you straight into the next available emergency window.
For a knocked-out adult tooth: keep the tooth moist (in milk or in your saliva, not water), don't scrub the root, and try to reach us within 30 minutes.
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
