DVA Dental Services: Gold Card and White Card Holders
Gold Card Holders
Veterans with a Gold Card may be eligible for a comprehensive range of dental treatments fully covered by the DVA. These include:

White Card Holders
Veteran White Card holders can access dental treatment for specific conditions accepted by the DVA as being directly related to their military service. You may be eligible for:

Dental Services for DVA Card Holders

Understanding Costs: The Annual Monetary Limit (AML)
Most dental treatments covered by the DVA scheme come at no out-of-pocket cost to eligible cardholders. However, some services may fall under the Annual Monetary Limit (AML) — currently $2,920.05 per calendar year (as of 1 July 2025).
You may be exempt from the AML and co-payments if you are:

A former prisoner of war

Receiving treatment for an accepted service-related injury or condition

Undergoing dental care for cancer affecting the teeth, jaw, or mouth
If a treatment exceeds the AML or requires prior approval, our team will let you know ahead of time and assist with obtaining DVA confirmation.
